I have only been a member of this chat group for a week or so and have read each and every note with great interest. I have been suffering the odd pains and sorts that you are all speaking of for about 16 months, but to date still don't have a real diagnosis, except perhaps my own _base_d upon my reading. However, after continued reading I am not sure that I am correct. I indeed suffer from the chronic muscle pains that you do, and on most days a little IBS. I do not however have difficulty sleeping nor do I have fatigue, two very common symptoms that you all speak of. I do however suffer some symptoms that you don't speak of although I'm sure that you must have (dry eyes/mouth (even before the medications), numbness not oly in the hands and feet, but in the face as well. I have tremendous pain in the bottoms of my feet, such that each step is painful. My pain is just about the same each day, and I have not as yet experienced the kinds of flares that you guys mention.. Does any of this sound familiar ?? Am I barking up the wrong tree ?? By the way, I am a 42 year old male (don't see much correspondence from men, are you out there also ?) Davis PS Is this a progressive type disorder ?? Does anybody ever get better ??

?? There are those that claim remission but no-one has claimed a cure yet. I'm banking on the Lowe Hypo_meta_bolic treatment for my remission. Eventual cure is my aim! There is some interesting research going on but not enough as yet. We Are Infinite Love! Thanks for reminding me with your presence in my life! Berna (

We all have to keep looking for the common denominators. That's the only way a cure will ever be found! EZWriter in Louisiana

were dislocated. When I was in my 20ty's my ankles, the ligaments in them would hurt so that I could hardly walk. Episodes with my knees as I got older and worked as a nurse. I had to give up my career as my back just could not tolerate the lifting, etc. I cried and asked God, ok Father where do we go from here. Back to school and became a F/C Bookkeeper, and later took up Real Estate. Gave that up so that I could take care of my mother in law that developed Alzheimers. Then my mom 2 years later, she had a stroke. Does it get better, I don't think so. In 1985, I fell backwards into a planter box and severely injured my back and my condition has deteriorated, vascular headaches, heart trouble and now asthma. I think I better quit. Even in all this adversity I am truly blessed. I hope this helps. Why are we tested and tried. because we are human, and God is preparing us for something better, and teaching us compassion for one another. Sincerely, Judy Neville
