colors and meaning Meaning of conductor colors in USA and Europe
Conductors with a green insulation are usually considered the grounding conductor in the USA. In Europe, it is a green insulation with a yellow stripe. Where can I find the usual meaning for other color conductors, i.e. white, black, blue, red, brown, etc. for the USA and Europe. Thank you in advance. Mark Oakes

Mark Oakes For 3 phase power conductors: Red = A Phase Black = B Phase Blue = C Phase White = Neutral conductor (i.e., the Star point of the 4-wire circuit) Green = Ground. Green turns to white at the side of the NGR that is closest to the power supply. HR.

that is interesting in Australia we have Red A phase White B phase Blue C phase Black Neutral You would think that somewhere along the line we could standardise the system world wide!! We can't even agree on how to spell standardiz(s)e!

Yeah, like SI units should be the standard unit of measurement. There should be a world standardising committee to make everything the same standard.
