Hi! I'm intending to achieve a curriculum _style_ similar to this: http://www.unive.it/media/allegato/tutorato%20e%20stage/stage-estero/... Basically it's a page divided in two parts by a vertical rule. In a tabular fassion it would be something like r | l . There is an easy and comfortable way to do this on LaTeX? Tabular it's not an option, because you can't specify tabular height. Another problem it's the placement of the page number (it's at the end of the page within the left column). Well, LaTex gurus, Could you help to solve that? Any clue will be well received.

I wouldn't necessarily rule out tabular.  You can use a zero-width rule to control row height (e.g., rule[-3cm]{0pt}{1pt}).  Another possibility is to use the textpos package to draw the rule and place boxes of text at specified locations. thepage gives you the current page number.

Hi! I'm intending to achieve a curriculum _style_ similar to this: http://www.unive.it/media/allegato/tutorato%20e%20stage/stage-estero/... you are reinventing the wheel... the europecv package does what you want to do. http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/europecv/ Diego

There is an easy and comfortable way to do this on LaTeX? I couldn't check the example you posted, but this sounds remarkably like the europecv package. Perhaps you would like to take a look at that? The problem with using a tabular it's that I must be controlling the height of each row and that's a bit complicated. But I'll take a look at the textpos package that you mention.
