Where did the intro on Bungalow Bill come from? I know it isn't a Beatle or a session musician. John R. i believe that it's from a mellotron... a mellotron is of course a machine that plays taped instrumental loops by means of a keyboard (e.g. the flute intro to 'strawberry fields')... one of the loops that came with the machine was the spanish guitar heard before 'bungalow bill'... you just pressed a key and the mellotron played it. guess they liked how it sounded. after hearing it that way so many times, 'bungalow bill' doesn't sound right without it...
