ford truck f250 recall 1988-90 F-150 Paint Recall

Doe's any one have any information on the recall that was done to serveral F-150's in the years of 1988 - 1990 I'm not sure if that is the exact year but I believe my truck falls in the dates that they used some bad paint as the truck ( '90 F-150 with 56K original miles) paint is peeling. I've heard about several of my friends getting their trucks repainted and want to know if it might apply to mine? I'm second owner as far as I know. My 1990 f-250 was repainted in 1993 because the grey was bad. Just go to a Fore dealer to find out about the recall. Just give them your VIN #

You know, thinking back on this, it wasnt a recall. I believe it was a program Ford had to address people complaining about the bad paint. I never actually got a recall notice, and I believe I had it done shortly before the program expired. Let us know what the dealer says. Paul
